My husband is allergic to oats. Does the oat content affect the allergy?

Beta glucan that’s in the product isn’t allergenic necessarily. However - if it were me personally, I’d avoid. Most oat allergies come from a response to avenin (a protein in oats) and it’s possible there are trace levels in the beta glucan extracted. Safest to steer clear & choose a pure nattokinase product. Ultimately a matter to consult your doctor on who’s got more context on the specific allergy.

You're putting in hot chocolate? Doesn't heat kill the enzymes? I thought active natto tasted terrible?
