The entire Resveratrol story is incredibly frustrating and depressing. Sinclair does low quality science, hypes it to anyone who will listen, gets a bag of cash for it... and still won't let it go.
That kind of behavior is enough to make me take more or less anything he says with a healthy dose of skepticism... or stop listening altogether.
Agree more or less with the rest of the list. I'm a little higher on Spermidine but agree that the evidence in its current state is lacking. Animal research is promising. It's cheap. Risk of harm seems very low. Some human data re immune cells and function. I don't personally take it, but the risk/reward isn't bad, and the data leans positive IMO.
To be honest, though, I do think taking a supplement "for longevity" is a failed idea in general. If there's no targetable, measurable outcome you're chasing, you find yourself just taking a pill for 30+ years in the hope that it makes you live longer.
That metformin one about blunting muscle protein synthesis is huge! Really counterproductive because muscle is a glucose sink. 😮

Solid list.
One of superpowers main panels is literally a “biological age” tracker which you say is overhyped and then you go on to promote it???
It is overhyped. You can simply ignore the noise in things…and retain the signal.
I love it! Thanks man, i am grateful that men like you exists, you expose psyops without selling a thing. God bless you
I would like to pick your brain on urolithin A. Some claim benefits after long term use (4 months).
